CattlEdge Capital delivers data-backed cattle exposure built for uncorrelated, risk-managed yield.
Subscription capital is placed in a U.S. Treasury or money market account with our partner banks. This deposit is then secured as collateral for an operating line of credit used to purchase cattle and fund essential operating costs, including feed, freight, and animal care.
Calves weighing 400-700 lbs are purchased and placed into a grower program. This will consist of a combination of pen starting yards as well as grazing homes (grass fields) to develop animal health and establish the foundation for weight gain. Cattle at grazing homes will feed on wheat, native grass, or equivalent until they are mature enough to go into a feedyard.
When market conditions present a premium for doing so, cattle ranging from 750 - 1050 lbs will be sold. These marketings will primarily be direct contract sales from the field but will also include inventory being sold at auction.
Cattle entering this program will either be inventory that has been developed through the Grower Program or new feeder cattle purchased. At this stage, cattle are fed a high concentrate diet to promote optimum gain and performance. Cattle are regularly sorted by performance at the yard in order to maximize feed conversion efficiency.
Finished cattle are sold direct to a packer such as Tyson, Cargill, etc. Reps from these companies regularly visit the feedyards to acquire pens of cattle. Cattle will be sold on live weight or grid based on genetics and condition.
Proceeds from cattle sales are redeployed into new inventory, maintaining continuous capital utilization. Net profits from operations are distributed to investors on a quarterly basis.
CattlEdge Capital provides direct exposure to real livestock assets through a disciplined, continuously managed structure. A meaningful general partner commitment ensures full alignment with investors, reinforcing confidence in the fund's strategy and execution.

Behind CattlEdge Capital is a team of lifelong cattlemen who share a passion for raising livestock the right way. We've each grown up in this business, learning the value of hard work, patience, and stewardship that comes with caring for animals and the land.
That same respect for tradition guides how we operate today. We combine generations of ranching experience with modern data tools and disciplined management to make cattle production more efficient, transparent, and sustainable.
Together, we've built CattlEdge around a simple idea: when you take care of the cattle, the land, and the people involved, good results follow. It's that philosophy that drives everything we do.

"Our goal is to honor the heritage of cattle ranching while managing it with the same precision, transparency, and discipline investors expect from any other institutional asset."
